MC-2100 Series Media Servers were designed to be the highest performance, smallest form factor, highest quality, most power efficient Media Servers available. From the precision machined T-6 aluminum fan-less heat-sink chassis to the interconnect cables, we except no compromises, only the highest quality components are chosen, assuring the highest build quality possible.

The unit is 100% passively cooled with copper heat-pipes which dissipate the heat from an Intel Core 2 Duo 3GHz CPU and north bridge chipset directly to the chassis, making fans unnecessary. A generous 2TB of hard drive space is provided by two Seagate Pipeline HD Pro media center optimized hard drives which are cooled by our unique PI-DRIVE module which decouples the hard drives from the case, drastically reducing noise and vibration, while creating a heat path out of the chassis.

MC-2100 Media Servers are a simple to use media source for a home theater while simultaneously providing a multi-source audio solution. The server supports one video output, HDMI with 8 channel LPCM audio or DVI and optical SP/DIF, while simultaneously feeding four or eight* independent audio source outputs.

Support for a multitude of control options is provided. IR remote, RF remote, AMX, Crestron, HAI, select RSI remotes, URC MX-6000, Web Tablet, Web Browsers and Adobe Flash® compatible devices. A published control protocol is provided so that any third party control system may be used.

MicroHD

Sonus Digital is proud to announce the MicroHD Media Client. The MicroHD is a fully featured Vista Media Center measuring only 11” wide x 11” deep by 3 1/4” high, yet it supports full hardware accelerated BluRay media playback. Standard configuration includes an Intel X-25M SSD drive for incredibly fast boot times and 0db hard drive noise. To further reduce noise, advanced fan speed management, keeps the case and CPU fans at the lowest possible RPM while still keeping the unit cool.

Conceived as a lower cost client unit to our Home Servers, it ships with an IR hand unit and internal IR receiver as standard equipment. Optionally, it may be ordered with and additional 1TB of storage and Autonomic Controls MCS Standard Edition.

Sonus Digital Media servers offer a simple to use solution to store or stream media to a home theater or provide a whole house multi-source solution. The MicroHD series supports one video zone and up to four independent audio zones.
